Sharada Tilve is a Research Imaging Representative at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. She previously served as a neuroscientist and post-doctoral researcher at the National Institutes of Health. Her research focused on brain-injury related effects on cells using advanced microscopy techniques. She also developed a mobile app called Lab Toolkit to help researchers working in laboratory settings conduct advanced calculations faster and with more ease. She holds a BS in biotechnology from Mumbai University, an MS in neuroscience from Bristol University, and a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Genoa in Italy. She is certified in business strategy and negotiations from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She is fluent in Hindi, Marathi, and Italian, and volunteers as a mentor with One World Education.
