How I Help Brevity & Wit Clients

I empower leaders to drive lasting impact through science-based approaches. Through strategic advising and interactive trainings, I provide tools, templates, and checklists that empower leaders to create inclusive communications that drive change. As a coach, I integrate leadership assessments with creative tools like visualizations and improv, fostering growth beyond mere awareness. Similarly, my team coaching and workshops focus on disrupting stuck behavior patterns, overcoming dysfunctional power dynamics, building trust, and enhancing collaboration.

My Approach

As a leadership development coach and communications strategist with over 25 years of experience, I leverage insights from the behavioral sciences to guide my clients. By helping leaders communicate more effectively and inclusively, they can drive behavior change, foster trust, and increase employee engagement. My coaching – for individuals and teams – helps leaders identify ineffective behaviors, recognize power and embrace their responsibility with purpose, intention and joy.

In all my work, I honor how identity, history, and cultural systems shape each person’s challenges; recognizing the interplay of power, identity, and culture is crucial both for the coaching relationship and for the work environment that leaders need to navigate.

What My Clients Say

“I worked with Sabine on internal communications. Sabine's calm, personable and unflappable professionalism helped bring us through a critical period in our DEI journey: she worked with me to develop biweekly DEI communications in the absence of a DEI leader and helped develop a tool for our divisions to communicate decisions. Sabine did a terrific job of bringing her expertise to the conversation and also truly listening to us as a client, and finding a way to mesh best practice with the realities, opportunities and limitations of our internal culture. Our senior leadership have begun to understand the value of internal communications. Brevity and Wit helped the organization through a critical period. They helped us evolve as an organization and my experience with Sabine in particular was excellent. Thank you! ”

VP, Media Organization in California

“Working with Sabine on people-pleasing and conflict competence has already sparked valuable follow-up discussions among our senior team. During a recent conflict of differing perspectives, we were able to navigate interpersonal dynamics in a way that wouldn’t have been possible before the session. Several team members described the experience as ‘incredible,’ appreciating the thoughtful blend of personal insight and task-focused facilitation that Sabine brings to her work. Her level of preparation leading up to the workshops and her guidance throughout the process has already impacted how we engage with one another. ”

Angela Menendez, Director of People & Culture, New Hampshire Public Radio

“I would like to express how much I appreciate Sabine’s counsel as well as her approach to coaching. I feel like she has gotten to know me in ways that I am not even sure I know myself yet. At one particularly challenging time we talked about how many aspects of my personal life were seemingly colliding with my work life. She was able to so smoothly pull from what she had learned about my own values to help me look at my current situation from a different perspective. I simply could not imagine my work life without access to Sabine for our coaching sessions, I have derived more value from it as far as growth and perspective than I had EVER anticipated. ”
